CSA Group
We are accredited under the Canadian standards for both reclosable and non-reclosable child-resistant and senior-friendly packages.
These standards include requirements for the construction, performance, child-resistant effectiveness, senior-adult-use effectiveness, marking of child-resistant packages, and for the instructions to be provided with such packages.
ISO
The ISO 8317 standard specifies performance requirements and test methods for reclosable packages designated as resistant to opening by children. The test methods also cover the accessibility to the contents by senior adults.
ISO 14375 standard specifies performance requirements and test methods for child-resistant and senior-friendly non-reclosable packaging for pharmaceutical products.
The ISO/IEC 17025 standard enables laboratories to show that they operate competently and generate valid results, promoting confidence in their work.
ILAC-MRA
The International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) is the international organization for accreditation bodies operating in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011 and involved in assessment and accreditation of calibration laboratories, testing laboratories, medical testing laboratories and inspection bodies.
EPA
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency designates specific methods for testing ready-to-use bait stations with adults for facility of opening, reclosing, and securing, as well as with young children.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency prescribes requirements for child-resistant packaging of pesticide products and devices. The requirements are established under the authorize of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA section 25(c)(3).
